What your score means:

It is important that students know that their SAT/ACT scores are not direct measures of intelligence. There are many factors that go into generating a “good” ACT score, and the ACT can foster inequity by allowing students with more time, resources, and support to generate higher scores without regard to work ethic or intelligence. That being said, your ACT/SAT score can play a big role in admission, and can provide you with financial opportunitites.
